The e-learning course "Theoretical Refresher BLS" is aimed at PA, PFA, and DGKP and provides a compact refresher on key emergency and basic skills in everyday nursing care. In approximately 4 hours, important topics such as the legal foundations and profession-specific competencies, structured emergency procedures (ABCDE scheme), and basic resuscitation measures (BLS) are covered.
Participants will learn how to correctly assess emergency situations, perform life-saving immediate measures, and use an AED device correctly. The course also covers airway management, the safe handling of peripheral venous access, and the assessment of vital signs. Acute complications in diabetes mellitus are also addressed.
As a pure e-learning course, it offers maximum flexibility: the content can be worked on independently of location and time, and repetitions are possible at any time. The course is ideal for individual refresher training, preparation for practical emergency situations, and fulfilling legal further education obligations.
