Description

In a world where the internet and mobile devices are constant companions, we face the challenge of preparing young people for the darker sides of the digital world. This workshop offers a comprehensive and interactive opportunity to raise awareness among students about the risks and dangers of cyberspace.

Core topics of the workshop:

  • Cyberbullying prevention: Understanding and strategies to avoid cyberbullying, with a special focus on self-presentation and interpersonal interactions in the digital space.
  • Dealing with problematic content: Raising awareness of and handling hate posts, violent videos, and sexual harassment online.
  • Legal awareness online: Insights into the legal aspects of internet use and confronting inappropriate or dangerous content.
  • Protection against grooming and sextortion: Education about serious threats such as sexting, grooming, and sextortion, as well as preventive measures and support options.

The workshop is designed to be interactive and aims not only to impart knowledge but also to develop practical skills for safe and responsible use of digital media. Through a combination of expert input, group discussions, and practical exercises, students are encouraged to think critically about their online presence and interactions.

As a teacher, you are the key to imparting these vital skills. This workshop offers you the opportunity to actively support your students and prepare them for an increasingly digitalized world. We invite you to register your class for this essential and enlightening workshop to jointly promote safe and respectful behavior in the digital space.
