Introduction to Artificial Intelligence: Basics and Practice

In this practice-oriented course, participants will receive an understandable introduction to the topic of Artificial Intelligence (AI). Basic terms will be clarified, application areas highlighted, and concrete possibilities for use in everyday life and work demonstrated – such as in smartphones or social media. Participants will learn how so-called language models work and practice how to achieve optimal results through targeted inputs. The course is supplemented by practical examples, exercises, and a critical examination of the opportunities, limits, and risks of these technologies. The course is aimed at all interested parties – no prior knowledge is required.
